A Complete Place to Relax and Have Fun!
I have always been careful when planning trips, so I was surprised when I won two nights at Candeias Residencial Piçarras! I had never won anything like that before, and I admit I was a little suspicious at first. It all became clear when I received a video call explaining the details. To be sure, I contacted the hotel directly, and thankfully everything checked out!
First impressions and location
As soon as I arrived, I noticed how spacious, well organized, and clean the property was. Everything was peaceful, which made the stay even more relaxing. The location is another big plus: it is close to everything! There is a restaurant right across the street, as well as an açaí shop, a pharmacy, and a modern market where the fruit is kept fresh with an automatic misting system—I thought that was really cool!
And, of course, we had to visit the beach, which is only 300 meters from the hotel. It was wonderful to enjoy everything without worrying about long distances.
Facilities and comfort
The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable, fun stay. The apartments have air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom, keeping them pleasant in any season. There is also a place to hang clothes, which is very handy if you are staying longer.
An important tip: bring your swimsuit! We thought we would not be able to use the pool, so we ended up buying swimwear nearby rather than miss out. The hotel has a great pool with a waterslide, plus plenty of activities: a multi-sport court, kids’ playroom, game room, playground, and even a hammock area where you can relax.
The apartment kitchen is well equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and utensils, which is very convenient if you want to cook. We did miss having a sponge and dish soap, but we quickly picked them up at the nearby market.
If I could change one thing, it would be the bathroom. I thought it was small and lacked ventilation, which could be improved. Overall, though, the experience was great, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a complete place to enjoy Balneário Piçarras.
